Van Buren trailed 20-13 at the break and Bentonville was able to extend the lead by one, going into the final quarter, 30-22.
Lexi Miller sank a bucket with 2:04 left in the contest to pull Van Buren within one, 34-33, but Heritage's Pam Seiler dropped a trey to spark a 9-2 run to close out the game.
Van Buren's Emmalee Grebe led the game with 17 points and added five rebounds. Miller finished with seven and Lexi Trejo tossed in six. Maddux McDonald had a game-high six rebounds.
