The Lady Pointers opened up the doubleheader vs Mt. Home with a 6-3 victory on a 3 run HR by Anna Stanier in the 6th inning to put the LP's ahead for good. Ashlyn Michael went 2-2 with 2 RBI's. Game 2 didn't end up as well as the LP's out hit their opponent, 10-7, but left 10 stranded to go down 2-5.
Van Buren put 2 runs up in the 1st inning...Hailey Allen went 2-4 and scored a run, Jocelyn Parga went 2-4 her hit in the 7th inning with bases loaded and two outs was just shy of clearing the fence and being a walk-off; Eva Garcia went 2-2; and India Norwood went 3-3.
